Renting Scuba Diving Equipment

Renting Scuba Diving Equipment

It's hard to travel with scuba equipment, it's bulky it's heavy and it's usually wet. We can help!

Scuba Diving Equipment Rental

Renting scuba diving equipment on one of our Phuket diving day trip tours couldn’t be easier. So if you’re not travelling with your own equipment then we can help you out. Our prices for rental equipment are surprisingly cheap. Equipment quality is great so you may consider leaving your own at home. Scuba equipment can be quite heavy and takes a lot of room so if you’re just doing a few casual days diving it may be more cost effective to leave it at home.

If you have or are traveling with your own gear, we’re more than happy to take care of it for you. You can either store it on our boat or at our dive center inbetween dive days. It’s great to have your own equipment, being comfortable when you’re diving is very important.

We do recommend that you at least bring the lighter more personal items. Although we do have a small selection of prescription masks and open heel fins these are items that you should brinbg if you have them. The same goes for computers, torches, SMB’s etc.

High Quality And Well Maintained Equipment

Our equipment is all Aqualung therefore ensuring high quality. The rental equipment is checked daily by our in-house certified technician. Ensuring that you our valued guests have the peace of mind to enjoy your dives to the fullest. Our masks are prepared so there is little chance of your mask fogging.

renting quality scuba diving equipment

renting quality scuba diving equipment

If you do not own your own scuba diving equipment, and are not participating in one of our PADI scuba diving courses or Discover Scuba Dive, you will need to be renting scuba diving equipment. The equipment hire cost is not included in the price of the day trip. Simply because that way we don’t need to charge people who have their own equipment or partial sets for something they won’t use.

If you need a full set of scuba diving equipment for your day’s diving with us please see the pricing table below. When you contact us, or make a booking, please let us know exactly what equipment you are in need of!

Different countries and manufacturers have different sizes so asking for height, weight and shoe size allows more accuracy.

MV Smiling Seahorse Photographers First Choice

The MV Smiling Seahorse caters exceptionally well for photographers. The owners are professional underwater photographers so they know exactly what's required. Very few if any Similan Island liveaboards have a dedicated camera room. No need to leave your expensive equipment in a camera bucket, just rinse and use the convenient shelves to do what all photographers love to do - fiddle with their gear. Plenty of power points make charging batter [...]

Banded Sea Krait – Phuket’s Deadly Pacifist

If we stumbled across a cobra on our Phuket travels most of us would disappear into the distance screaming, yet we can calmly watch a snake with a more toxic venom from just a couple of meters when scuba diving. The yellow lipped banded sea krait has a very powerful myotoxic venom and is probably the only snake you'll encounter on your Thailand holiday. The reason you may hear is that their mouths are too small and they can only bite y [...]

What Is A Phuket Liveaboard Safari?

The best diving in Phuket and Thailand for that matter is inside the Similan and Surin Island National Parks.
