News & Updates Two popular Phuket reefs have been afforded extra protection. Fishing of any kind was banned at Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai from the 28th April 2021. The ban will be in place for 5 years, perpetrators can be fined up to THB 100,000 or face up to a year in jail.
