MV Giamani

MV Giamani

4 Days/4 Nights From THB 48,000

A Stylish Similan Islands Liveaboard

MV Giamani has the smallest guest list of any Thailand Liveaboard. Not a small boat by any means but with only 10 guests onboard you can expect a first class and personal service. As you can imagine finding space to relax between dives is no trouble at all, many guests enjoy the outside cushioned area to maybe read a book and take in the spectacular views of the surrounding Similan and Surin Island National Parks and the uninhabited islands of the Mergui Archipelago.

The saloon is air-conditioned and fitted with plenty of media devices to view your photos or video taken on fantastic dive sites such as Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. With so few guests onboard you have great chance of hitting the dive sites without the usual crowds.

Cabins are well laid out and feature en-suite bathrooms, individual air-conditioning units, minibar, fans and reading lights. The Master cabin is located on the upper deck and the remaining four Deluxe cabins on the main deck.

The user friendly dive deck is very comfortable with a camera table and rinse tanks making this a great boat for photographers. Food is plentiful and a great mix of Thai and international dishes are served buffet style on the shaded main deck.

Another great feature of this boat is the option of staying onboard and enjoying a further two nights at the Southern Andaman dive sites. Making sure you give yourself the very best opportunity for an encounter with some stuff!

Koh Haa At Sunset

Liveaboards To The Southern Andamans

Koh Ha, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang don't get as much as the limelight as the more famous Similan Islands but you have no less of a chance of encountering manta rays and whale sharks here than you do further north. You won't find many boats that sail this route but if you're fortunate enough to be here when one does then it's definitely worth a try. [...]

Where to stay in Phuket can be a bit of a headache, there's plenty of beach resorts. If you're coming to Phuket mainly for diving day tours then Chalong is the best area to stay. All of the day tours leave from Chalong Pier so you'll cut your daily travel time significantly. Although getting to the pier from the main tourist areas of Patong, Kata or Karon doesn't take too long there are days when the traffic is particular bad or one of the di [...]

Phuket Wreck Diving Has Many Options Amazing Local Dives

Wreck Diving In Phuket

Phuket is not well known for wreck diving but we do have a few and some are very good. In one bay at Racha Yai we have 5! Ok, we're using the term wreck a little cheaply for a couple of them but they were boats and now they're on the ocean floor - so it's a wreck. Our premier Phuket wreck, it's the oldest of our recreational diving wrecks and very much worth a visit for all experienced divers. The bottom of the wreck is over 30m deep a [...]
