MV Giamani

MV Giamani

4 Days/4 Nights From THB 44,000

A Stylish Similan Islands Liveaboard

MV Giamani has the smallest guest list of any Thailand Liveaboard. Not a small boat by any means but with only 10 guests onboard you can expect a first class and personal service. As you can imagine finding space to relax between dives is no trouble at all, many guests enjoy the outside cushioned area to maybe read a book and take in the spectacular views of the surrounding Similan and Surin Island National Parks and the uninhabited islands of the Mergui Archipelago.

The saloon is air-conditioned and fitted with plenty of media devices to view your photos or video taken on fantastic dive sites such as Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. With so few guests onboard you have great chance of hitting the dive sites without the usual crowds.

Cabins are well laid out and feature en-suite bathrooms, individual air-conditioning units, minibar, fans and reading lights. The Master cabin is located on the upper deck and the remaining four Deluxe cabins on the main deck.

The user friendly dive deck is very comfortable with a camera table and rinse tanks making this a great boat for photographers. Food is plentiful and a great mix of Thai and international dishes are served buffet style on the shaded main deck.

Thailand Liveaboard - Deep Andaman Queen

Deep Andaman Queen

MV Deep Andaman Queen was built in 2003 and underwent a major overhaul in 2012 and now boasts one of the largest dive platforms of any Thailand liveaboard. This steel hulled twin engine boat has high safety specs and a number of cabin configurations to suit every budget. In 2015 she had a Coltri Sub Nitrox membrane system fitted to ensure every certified nitrox diver has enough for every dive on the trip. The dive deck is split over two levels. A large, spacious kitting up area and a separate dive platform affords plenty of space for everyone as you make your entry into the fabulous dive sites around the famous Similan and Surin Island national parks, she also runs regular trips to th [...]

Phi Phi Island National Park News & Updates

Phi Phi Islands National Park Fee And New Diving Rules

A couple of years back the entry fee for the Phi Phi Island Marine National Park jumped to THB 400 for all tourists and an extra THB 200 for divers. After months of collecting the fee from our diving guests in the morning and then returning it back in the afternoon we finally gave up. No National Park officers came to collect the fees but the Thai government has announced that they will begin strictly enforcing the fee collection from 17th July 2017. We have heard this before and to be honest we're not 100% sure if they will collect the fees but we have to be prepared. From the 17th July our tour leaders will have to collect THB 600 from all diving guests on the Phi Phi/Shark Point tr [...]

What Are My Chances of Diving With A Manta Ray In Phuket?

Your first diving experience with a manta ray is something you'll never forget. In Phuket we're fortunate enough to get regular visits from these gentle giants, they can turn up virtually anywhere but we do have our favourite spots. Lets be clear, you have to be lucky on our local dive sites but it's by no means impossible. As I'm writing this the last week has produced four sightings all at our favoured spot. Racha Noi island has a manta ray cleaning station at the southern tip, this is a dive site but one we rarely visit due to the very strong currents but the other dive sites on the island get plenty of sightings as the mantas pass on their way to the south tip. They often swim int [...]
