Phinisi In Myanmar

Phinisi In Myanmar

The Phinisi Myanmar Offers A Fantastic Trip To Uncrowded Dive Sites

The Phinisi cuts an impressive figure. A wonderful, traditional Indonesian style yacht that gets you to the isolated Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar. Myanmar is a fantastic place to dive, visiting the wonderful dive sites is enhanced by joining a liveaboard safari with The Phinisi.

Sitting firmly in the luxury category, The Phinisi has very comfortable cabins and diving facilities. The crew are highly experienced and attentive to your every need. 10 days on most boats will feel a little too long but we’re sure it will be difficult to disembark this boat at the end of your Myanmar adventure.

The Cabins

18 very lucky guests are comfortably accommodated in a range of cabins to suit different budgets. Two Quad cabins, two twin cabins and 3 cabins that can be used as either twin or double bed configuration. Every cabin has en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, towels, storage space, overhead reading lights and a safe.

The Rest

There’s plenty of space in the social areas; a large air conditioned saloon has a TV and a library of books, movies and games. The sundeck is spacious and the perfect place to watch the Similan Island sunsets from your cushioned sun lounger.

The shaded diving deck has generous individual set up areas which include a personal storage area. Diving is done from a tender inline with the new Similan Island National Park rules. Rental equipment is high quality Aqualung, SMB are offered free of charge and nitrox is available to rent (recommended).

Excellent and plentiful food is served buffet style and eaten either in the shaded dining area or inside the comfortable saloon. You certainly won’t go hungry but neither will you lose any weight on the trip…

Yellow Snapper At Phi Phi Amazing Local Dives

A Great Days Diving At Phi Phi And Shark Point

Grey skies and a humid atmosphere greeted us as we boarded our dive boat in Chalong. Thankfully there was no wind or waves on the way to Phi Phi and a comfortable journey ensued with the hope of better conditions under the waves than we had above. We weren't to be disappointed, visibility in the bay at Koh Bida Nok was excellent. A quick swim up into the shallows brought a brief glimpse of a couple of blacktip reef sharks cruising around i [...]

All being well on the 18th June, the final group of businesses which include scuba diving can restart. It's absolutely not a guaranteed date. Every stage of the plan has to [...]
