Local Dive Thailand Shop Now In Patong

Local Dive Thailand Shop Now In Patong

Visit Our new Dive Shop In Patong

Patong remains the busiest beach resort in Phuket. Many of our dive guests choose to stay in this popular area of the island. We’ve now opened a shop on the beach front, divers can now drop by and meet Simon to finalise their diving plans.

*Unfortunately we’ve had to temporarily close our dive shop in Patong on the beach road. You can contact our main Rawai office via telephone or email. If you’re in Patong and would like to speak to us face to face, visit Nan at the Nice Hotel.

It’s only a small shop but it’s in a very convenient location. Sandwiched between a Starbucks and McDonalds just outside the Baanthai Beach Resort on Beach Rd. Just a stones throw from the famous/infamous Bangla Rd party strip. Our main office and centre of operations remains in close proximity to the boat departure point at Chalong.

All transfers from Patong for fun divers and students are included in our prices. So if you want to stay close to the amenities at Patong but still enjoy your scuba diving, it won’t cost you any extra and now you have the option to speak to our team in person or even settle your bill before stepping on-board MV Kebsup.

By Justin Hartrey

I've been enjoying the incredible marine life in our oceans for over 25 years. 13 years ago I became a PADI professional in Phuket, hoping to introduce as many people as possible to the incredible beauty of the seas.

Having been fortunate enough to dive all over south east and especially Thailand, I enjoy sharing my diving experiences and passion on this blog.

Originally from Bristol in the UK, I swapped the frigid waters of the North Atlantic for the warm tropical seas around Thailand and can confidently say that I wouldn't go back

Racha Noi West Side

The west side of Racha Noi is exposed to the low season weather making the topography completely different from the east side. Any sand gets washed away exposing the granite rocks that tumble down to meet the usually clear water. Both of our regular dive sites are quite similar and easy to manage if there is current. We'll always start the dive in the sheltered bay. If you're participating in a PADI Discover Scuba Diving or Open Water [...]

West Of Eden

After the coral bleaching in 2010 that devastated the wonderful East Of Eden this rocky dive site became more popular. Most sites on the western side of the Similan Islands are comprised of granite boulders and hard corals so they are a little more resilient to temperature change. Depending on the current the dive will begin around the mooring line in the small bay to the south of the dive site. It's worth spending some time in this area. [...]

scuba diving is very safe Scuba Diving For Beginners

Is Scuba Diving Safe?

We're obviously biased but we think scuba diving is a very safe activity. Of course as with all adventure sports/hobbies there is an element of risk. So let's have a look at some of the common safety procedures that keep you safe. Unsurprisingly, running out of air is the main culprit in scuba div [...]

Phuket Diving In Low Season

Phuket diving is low season has its plus points and negatives. We're fortunate enough to have an almost year round season - almost... Low season can produce the odd uncomfortable day but generally weather is pretty good in the day time with the wetter conditions coming in the evening but let's be honest as long as you can get in the water then it has to be a good day. Most days between May and October are hot and sunny just like the re [...]
