MV Giamani Liveaboard AT SImilan Island No. 8

MV Giamani

MV Giamani has the smallest guest list of any Thailand Liveaboard. Not a small boat by any means but with only 10 guests onboard you can expect a first class and personal service. As you can imagine finding space to relax between dives is no trouble at all, many guests enjoy the outside cushioned area to maybe read a book and take in the spectacular views of the surrounding Similan and Surin Island National Parks and the uninhabited islands o [...]

Yellow Snapper At Phi Phi Amazing Local Dives

A Great Days Diving At Phi Phi And Shark Point

Grey skies and a humid atmosphere greeted us as we boarded our dive boat in Chalong but thankfully there was no wind or waves on the way to Phi Phi and a comfortable journey ensued with the hope of better conditions under the waves than we had above. We weren't to be disappointed, visibility in the bay at Koh Bida Nok was excellent and a quick swim up into the shallows brought a brief glimpse of a couple of blacktip reef sharks cruising ar [...]

How Do I Avoid Seasickness?

Fortunately throughout the Phuket diving high season we're blessed with generally flat seas but around the beginning of May we start to get a swell come in from the open ocean. Not going to go too far into the science but essentially you're brain is being confused. With intentional movement (walking, r [...]
