Diving The Similan Islands

Improving coral growth and elevated whale shark sightings make for a fantastic trip. The exhilarating Koh Tachai pinnacle remains an incredible dive. Plenty of action as well as visits from both manta rays and whale sharks.

The world famous Richelieu Rock is still a top dive site. Hunting packs of trevally and emperors supply action all through the day and whale shark sightings have been climbing year on year.

Above water the Similan Islands are breathtaking. This season will see a huge reduction in day trips tourists so the beaches can actually be seen! Granite, jungle topped island surrounded by crystal clear waters set a stunning scene.

A Great Days Diving At Phi Phi And Shark Point

Grey skies and a humid atmosphere greeted us as we boarded our dive boat in Chalong but thankfully there was no wind or waves on the way to Phi Phi and a comfortable journey ensued with the hope of better conditions under the waves than we had above.
