PADI Underwater Navigator

Diving in Phuket is slightly unique, by law you have to dive with a local guide but that's certainly not the case with many places in the world. You may be given a dive briefing and then left to your own devices or you may want to explore your local dive sites after having the initial orientation from a PADI pro. This is where PADI Underwater Navigator Specialty becomes an absolute must. If you're the kind of diver who keeps a vice like gr [...]

Racha Noi Banana Rock

Racha Noi Banana Rock is just outside the large bay where you'll probably take your first dive of the day. The topography is completely different from the bay. The shallowest depth is around 7m where the rocks and hard coral reef meet the sand. There's a small patch reef at the start of the dive where we can sometimes find octopus hiding in the corals. Nitrox Tanks Ready To Use The Archives

Why Do Scuba Divers Use Nitrox?

Nitrox or Enriched Air Nitrox to give it's full name is the most popular PADI speciality course that we teach and for good reason. Excessive absorption of nitrogen into our body tissues is the factor that limits a divers time underwater. So by simply putting more oxygen into our scuba tank, therefor reducing the amount of nitrogen we [...]
