Non Divers In Phuket Can Also Have Fun!

Not A Scuba Diver And Just Want To Come On Our Day Trips?

Local Dive Thailand also caters for non divers on our Phuket day trip tours. Sometimes a partner or friend might want to accompany you or your divers. There are many reasons why we have non divers from time to time. So rest assured non divers will be looked after no different from our scuba diving customers. You get all the same things as the divers, including, breakfast, lunch, pancakes, tea, coffee and water. Plus you are always welcome to go for a bit of a swim while the divers are doing their thing.

Non Divers Can Still Enjoy The Sites

Most days the non divers on our Phuket tour boat will be able to gaze at stunning islands or limestone karsts. The Racha islands have beautiful azure waters so will probably tempt you in for a swim. Phi Phi has stunning steep cliffs covered in lush tropical vegetation and if you’re lucky you may see a turtle as it comes up for air.

Don’t forget that if all the excited chatter after the dives inspire you to give it a go. Just ask our staff and it may be possible to take the PADI Discover Scuba Diving programme at short notice. Of course you’re welcome to just sleep all day on one of our many cushioned benches or lay out and catch some rays on the sundeck.

We never overfill our boat even at the busiest times of year. Every guest has plenty of space so you won’t feel like it’s crowded at any time

Either way we’re confident you will enjoy your day out on our very comfortable boat and as a bonus you’ll get to try some delicious Thai dishes prepared fresh onboard by our fantastic cook.

How Much Does Scuba Diving In Thailand Cost

The cost of scuba diving in Thailand will vary depending on location, type of dive centre and in some respects yourself. Phuket probably offers the best all round diving in Thailand but it's also amongst the most expensive. It's not simply that we think you should pay more for better diving, simply down to logistics. Apart from a few really nice beach dives, most of our recognised dive sites are over an hour journey from port. You'll find [...]

When Will Thailand Reopen For Tourists?

For short term tourists, we simply don't know when Thailand will reopen for tourists. The various tourist associations on Phuket do have a plan to privately vaccinate the tourist workers. The plan will hopefully enable vaccinated tourists to arrive on the island in October 2021. However this has yet to be approved by the government but we have our fingers firmly crossed. *Update: Phuket has been chosen for what the government are calling t [...]
