We Supply Free Diving And Snorkelling Guides

Snorkelers and free diving bookings do include a guide who will be a minimum PADI Dive Master. If you’re a confident swimmer that does not require supervision in the water then you’re welcome to swim on your own but our crew members will keep a close eye on you.

Where Can you Go

Not all of our trips are suitable for free diving and snorkelling therefore our office staff will point you in the right direction. At the Phi Phi Islands the conditions are easy and you’ll have a great chance of seeing turtles and sharks. The final dive site at Shark Point can be a bit tricky so it’s only recommended in good conditions and only for strong swimmers.

Racha Noi/Yai is probably the perfect place to go due to the clear waters, even from the surface you can clearly see the marine life. There’s not quite as much as the Phi Phi trip but we often get turtles in the shallows and occasionally even manta rays.

scuba diving is very safe Scuba Diving For Beginners

Is Scuba Diving Safe?

We're obviously biased but we think scuba diving is a very safe activity. Of course as with all adventure sports/hobbies there is an element of risk. The hard facts support that accidents in scuba diving are firstly rare and mostly the fault of the diver and could have been easily avoided. So let's have a look at some of the common safety procedures that keep you safe. Unsurprisingly, running out of air is the main culprit in scuba div [...]

Aqualung Regulators At Our Phuket Dive Centre Equipment We Like

A Simple Upgrade That Can Save You $$$!

I'm sure most divers at some stage have rinsed their regulator off after a days diving and forgotten to put the dust cap in place - why it's called a dust cap is a bit of a mystery, it's main purpose is to keep moisture out of your first stage and maybe calling it something more appropriate might trigger good habits in new divers. The auto closure device (ACD) on Aqualung systems has been around for a while but getting it fitted now in the lo [...]

Banded Sea Krait At Koh Bida Nok - Phuket Rare & Peculiar Critters

Phuket’s Deadly Pacifist!

If we stumbled across a cobra on our Phuket travels most of us would disappear into the distance screaming yet we can calmly watch a snake with a more toxic venom from just a couple of meters when scuba diving. The yellow lipped banded sea krait has a very powerful myotoxic venom and is probably the only snake you'll encounter on your Thailand holiday. The reason you may hear is that their mouths are too small and they can only bite yo [...]
