Hin Daeng and Hin Muang In Style With MV Dive Race Class E

From THB 42,000

Cruise Hin Daeng/Hin Muang On A Stylish Southern Thailand Liveaboard

Constructed in 2015 to international standards this 34.5m by 7.5m steel hull ocean going vessel was designed with stability and comfort in mind allowing longer trips to the Similan Islands and the South Andaman sites of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang.

Built by divers for divers this luxury class vessel has a very comfortable air-conditioned entertainment area for guests to enjoy movies and games, a huge sundeck with an outdoor sofa to chill and enjoy the stunning island scenery. The dive deck is spacious and allows easy access to the large dive platform although most of the diving is conducted from the dinghy.

The cabins are top notch, plenty of space and the luxury cabins even have their own balcony! All are en-suite and air-conditioned.

A mix of Asian and Western food is served to guests in the covered outdoor dining area and there will be an outdoor BBQ on the sundeck at least once on every trip, a great opportunity to enjoy an evening drink and discuss the days diving.

Similan Island Dive Site Anita's Reef

Anitas Reef

Anitas Reef is a super easy dive site with great visibility. For these reasons it's used by many liveaboards as the first dive of the trip so all the divers have a nice easy start and get their weighting correct for the rest of the trip. The dive will certainly start in the calm shallows and you'll slowly work your way towards deeper water. Your guide will check your weighting is OK and that divers are nice and relaxed. The dive site very [...]

When Will Thailand Reopen For Tourists?

For short term tourists, we simply don't know when Thailand will reopen for tourists. The various tourist associations on Phuket do have a plan to privately vaccinate the tourist workers. The plan will hopefully enable vaccinated tourists to arrive on the island in October 2021. However this has yet to be approved by the government but we have our fingers firmly crossed. *Update: Phuket has been chosen for what the government are calling t [...]

Why Reef Safe Sunscreen?

We all know that our oceans are under siege, big time! Some of the issues facing our oceans are difficult for us to solve, some require a complete life style change. The good news is that there is one thing we can all do from the comfort of our computer screens and that is changing the type of sunscreen we use. Actually it's a no brainer if you are a scuba diver. Why is changing your sunscreen a "no brainer" for divers? Well that is bec [...]

Need To Know: Similan And Surin Islands New Rules

Similan and Surin Islands new rules bombshell dropped a few days before the annual reopening. The number of daily visitors has been reduced to 3,850 and divers to just 525. Possibly in reaction to somewhat unflattering images of thousands of tourists packed onto small Similan Island beaches. To ensure that no more divers than the allocated 525 per day enter Similan & Surin Island National Parks. Park tickets must be paid for in advance [...]
