Equipment Rental

It's hard to travel with scuba equipment, it's bulky it's heavy and it's usually wet. We can help!

Scuba Diving Equipment Rental

If you are joining us on one of our Phuket scuba diving day trip tours, and intend to scuba dive, you will most certainly need some equipment. If you have or are traveling with your own gear, that’s great, bring it with you on the day on the tour, we will take care of it for you and bring it to the boat at no extra charge.

If you do not own your own equipment, and are not doing one of our PADI scuba diving courses or Discover Scuba Dive, you will need to hire your equipment. The equipment hire cost is not included in the price of the day trip, simply because that way we don’t need to charge people who have their own equipment or partial sets for something they won’t use.

If you need a full set of scuba diving equipment for your day’s diving with us please see the pricing table below and when you contact us, or make a booking, please let us know exactly what equipment you are in need of!

Racha Yai & Racha Noi – Dive Tour

Racha Noi is Phuket's primary Manta hot spot, a cleaning station that regularly brings these amazing giants of the sea to visit us in the shallow waters of the many bays and dive sites the island supports. Racha Noi is also extremely diverse, with area's of breathtaking coral growth and deeper places with hidden secrets among the massive granite boulders! Adding to this, Phuket is not exactly known for wreck or macro diving but if you happen to be on this dive tour you might change your mind, as one of our regularly visited dive sites at Racha Yai actually has 5 wrecks as well as a massive artificial reef of concrete cubes and other sunken treasures, these wrecks and artificial reef str [...]

What Are My Chances of Diving With A Manta Ray In Phuket?

Your first diving experience with a manta ray is something you'll never forget. In Phuket we're fortunate enough to get regular visits from these gentle giants, they can turn up virtually anywhere but we do have our favourite spots. Lets be clear, you have to be lucky on our local dive sites but it's by no means impossible. As I'm writing this the last week has produced four sightings all at our favoured spot. Racha Noi island has a manta ray cleaning station at the southern tip, this is a dive site but one we rarely visit due to the very strong currents but the other dive sites on the island get plenty of sightings as the mantas pass on their way to the south tip. They often swim int [...]

Hawksbill Sea Turtle Descending from the surface Rare & Peculiar Critters

Meet the Hawksbills of Phi Phi

Sea turtles make for lovely encounters underwater. In Phuket day trip destinations, the species you are most likely to see while diving is the Hawksbill turtle. The name Hawksbill comes from the narrow pointed beak that resembles a bird’s beak. An other distinctive feature is the overlapping scutes pattern on the carapace, giving serrated edges to the upper shell. Hawksbill turtles can grow up to about 115cm in shell length and nearly 70kg in weight. You may encounter Hawksbills in numerous Phuket diving destinations, with very good chances in dive sites around Koh Phi Phi Ley, Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai. Like other species of sea turtles, the Hawksbill is not bothered muc [...]

Phuket Diving Trips – How it Works

I've dived in many places around the world and it's fair to say that scuba diving in Phuket differs greatly from anywhere else I've experienced. Most of the best diving spots in the world are fairly remote with limited infrastructure but Phuket is very different negating the necessity of staying in a dive resort or very close to the boat departure point. As a result divers come from all over the island to join us, so if you're wondering how it works read on... The time varies depends on where you're staying (see below) but will be between 06:30 - 08:00am from the reception area of your hotel. If our drivers can't immediately see you they will ask the hotel staff to call your name. Ple [...]
