SY Diva Andaman Is The Most Luxurious Similan Islands Liveaboard

Champagne? Don’t mind if I do! Sy Diva Andaman is the only Thailand liveaboard that offers a complimentary bottle of bubbly for the guests. This wonderful vessel offers a very different experience from the other boats cruising the Similan Islands and Mergui Archipelago.

Two on-board wine cellars, an excellent chef (not to be confused with a cook) serving gourmet food and even bathrobes set the tone for this luxurious cruise.

The seven wonderfully appointed wood panelled cabins are more like hotel rooms and feature air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, a safe, flat screen TV and a fridge to keep the champagne chilled. There are two twin cabins and five double cabins all on the lower deck.

Only 14 guests make a full complement on this fantastic yacht and with 10 crew members to look after your needs you can be sure of some personal attention. Thai massage, nitrox and even kayaks are available, so if a luxury dive cruise is what you’re looking for then this is the boat for you!

Koh Haa & Southern Andaman Liveaboards

Southern Andaman liveaboards run to Koh Haa, Hin Daeng & Hin Muang. Rivalling the Similan Islands in natural beauty, corals and marine life. Koh Haa sports two more well known dive sites, those of Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. Both are open water pinnacles rising from the sea floor, with Daeng just penetrating the surface and Muang just below it. These two dive sites are home to healthy populations of visiting giant manta rays. In truth, sightings [...]

Liveaboards To The Southern Andamans

Koh Ha, Hin Daeng and Hin Muang don't get as much as the limelight as the more famous Similan Islands but you have no less of a chance of encountering manta rays and whale sharks here than you do further north. You won't find many boats that sail this route but if you're fortunate enough to be here when one does then it's definitely worth a try. Phi Phi is also considered the southern andaman. During our green season from June to October a [...]

Need To Know: Similan And Surin Islands New Rules

Similan and Surin Islands new rules bombshell dropped a few days before the annual reopening. The number of daily visitors has been reduced to 3,850 and divers to just 525. Possibly in reaction to somewhat unflattering images of thousands of tourists packed onto small Similan Island beaches. To ensure that no more divers than the allocated 525 per day enter Similan & Surin Island National Parks. Park tickets must be paid for in advance [...]

Great Weather For Phuket Scuba Diving Amazing Local Dives

What Is The Best Phuket Diving Season?

We have two distinct scuba diving seasons in Phuket, imaginatively named low and high. The low season runs from mid May to mid October and high season the remainder of the year. The two seasons are governed by the monsoon winds that blow across South East Asia. It's fairly straightforward; in high season it blows from the east and low season from the west. Well let's start with the low season. The predominant west to east winds bring w [...]
