Manta Queen 3

Manta Queen 3

5 Days/5 Nights From THB 31,000

A Big Similan Island Liveaboard At a Small price

Manta Queen 3 cuts an imposing figure on the Similan Island liveaboard scene. This very large vessel was launched in 2011 and comfortably accommodates 31 divers. Her generous proportions offer a very stable cruise and plenty of space to relax between dives.

The unusually high number of air-conditioned cabin configurations ensures everyone can find something to suit their needs: Master 2 person en-suite cabin, Family Master en-suite 4 person cabin Twin bed en-suite cabins, Double bed en-suite cabins, Twin bed non en-suite cabins, 3 bed shared cabins and 4 bed shared cabins.

The 5 Day/5 Night trip will take in the very best diving in Thailand including Richelieu Rock and Koh Tachai Pinnacle. It’s also a rare opportunity to spend a decent amount of time around the Similan Islands themselves.

The common areas are spacious and have some nice touches, the hammocks on the sundeck are a favourite with sun worshipers and the large wood paneled saloon is a great place to chill out away from the heat.

SY Diva Andaman

Champagne? Don’t mind if I do! Sy Diva Andaman is the only Thailand liveaboard that offers a complimentary bottle of bubbly for the guests. This wonderful vessel offers a very different experience from the other boats cruising the Similan Islands and Mergui Archipelago. Two on-board wine cellars, an excellent chef (not to be confused with a cook) serving gourmet food and even bathrobes set the tone for this luxurious cruise. The seven [...]

Koh Bida Nai Scuba Diving Location

Koh Bida Nai

In the interest of variety we don't dive Koh Bida Nai very often. It's very similar to it's sister island Koh Bida Nok which we consider to be a better dive site. It was on a par but since we lost the beautiful staghorn fields to coral bleaching it's lost a little of it's lustre. Still it's an interesting dive site with lots of hard corals, boulders and swim throughs. The swim through at the south west corner is particular nice. It forms a [...]

Cressi A1 No Fog Diving Mask

There's nothing worse in diving than a foggy mask, well maybe running out of air, triggerfish, getting stung, putting on a cold wet wetsuit, DCS etc. After all we go diving to look at and explore the incredibly beautiful underwater world. Not many masks come out of the box completely fog free but the Cressi A1 does. You don't have to treat the mask at all. If you do, you may well damage the coating. Not only is it a no fog diving mask but [...]

Aqualung i450T Dive Computer

Having used the same computer brand for nearly 20 years, it was hard to jump ship from something that had only occasionally let me down. Especially to a brand that is although well trusted in the other diving equipment would be their first foray into the dive computer market. So enticed by a great deal and free in house quick and efficient repairs I decided to take a chance. The Aqualung i450T certainly looks the part, a sleek design a [...]
