A Fantastic Thailand Liveaboard With Free Nitrox!

MV Pawara is one of the most popular liveaboard boats cruising the Similan and Surin Island National Parks. The spacious and comfortable saloon, sundeck and shaded dining area ensure that guests always have plenty of space to relax between dives.

The air-conditioned saloon has free wi-fi, TV/DVD player and an extensive library to help you log the names of all the species you can encounter on the fabulous dive sites such as Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. MV Pawara is exceptionally well priced for the standard of the boat and also offers free nitrox for nitrox certified divers.

All Pawara’s cabins are air-conditioned and all but the budget cabins have private shower and toilet. On the upper deck there is two master cabins with queen sized beds and 4 deluxe bunk cabins. The lower deck has 4 standard cabins with queen bed (can be configured to make two separate beds) and two budget twin cabins.

A great boat at a great price with an excellent and highly experienced crew.

Racha Noi South Tip

Quite honestly we wish we could get to Racha Noi South Tip every trip but the converging currents from either side of Racha Noi make it a challenging dive even on weak tides. Only once or twice a month the current is low enough for us to get there but it's a real treat when we can. Even the guides are queuing up for this trip! The dive site consists of a series of huge granite boulders that have been washed smooth by the strong currents. C [...]

Turtle Rock – Phi Phi Diving With Turtles

If you want Phi Phi diving with turtles then Turtle Rock is the dive site for you. It's very rare that we don't see hawksbill turtles and usually more than one. They feed on the shallow shelves that run along the wall at Koh Phi Phi Ley. So shallow that snorkelers can usually see them. Quite often your safety stop is spent observing the turtles munching away on the bubble corals. They've got pretty used to divers over the years and seem to be [...]

Where To Stay in Phuket Phuket Sights & Fun

Where To Stay In Phuket

Choosing a beach resort for your stay in Phuket has got more and more difficult over the last few years. Great restaurants, bars and hotels have started springing up all over the island, taking away the necessity to stay in the traditional party town of Patong. As Patong gets more crowded and remains fairly one dimensional, tourists have begun to look at alternatives. Still the busiest place in Phuket and the number one choice for the [...]

Diving WIth Alien In Phuket Rare & Peculiar Critters

Diving With Aliens

Ridley Scott's alien monster has had people hiding behind the couch for over 30 years but in Phuket we scuba dive everyday with an animal that has the same fearsome set of double jaws, luckily the penchant for snacking on humans isn't also emulated. All bony fish have a set of pharyngeal teeth in their throat but moray eels have a complete pharyngeal second jaw that they can launch forward and use to swallow their unfortunate victims. Co [...]
