Nitrox Membrane System On MV Kebsup

Nitrox Membrane System On MV Kebsup

MV Kebsup Is Now One Of The Few Scuba diving Boats In Phuket With A Nitrox Membrane System

Our day trip to the King Cruiser wreck is one of the most popular on the Phuket diving scene. It’s even more enjoyable if you dive with Enriched Air Nitrox. The depth of the wreck 18 – 32m can make it a short dive on normal air tanks but with Nitrox you can easily make a full 50 minutes as long as your air consumption allows.

With this is mind we decided to invest in a Nitrox membrane system. Allowing divers to chose on the day if they would prefer Nitrox and if your not already Nitrox certified, we have the teaching facilities on the boat to get you certified. SO you can start the course on the dive day and begin enjoying the benefits immediately.

Our nitrox membrane system produces a set 32% Nitrox blend, the most widely used recreational mix. We can supply other blends for technical divers but this has to be ordered in advance.

We keep a bank of at least 20 tanks filled with 32% nitrox on the boat. Our hard working crew will fill any advance orders the evening before. So any diver who fills like switching to over to enriched air just has to inform their guide and our boat boys will fill some more.

We continue to try and make our boat the most diver friendly in Phuket. We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the the needs of the modern diver and our door is always open to new suggestions.

I've been enjoying the incredible marine life in our oceans for over 25 years. 13 years ago I became a PADI professional, hoping to introduce as many people as possible to the incredible beauty of the seas.

Having been fortunate enough to dive all over south east and especially Thailand, I enjoy sharing my experience and passion on this blog.

Giant Frogfish - A Rare Find When Scuba Diving In Phuket Rare & Peculiar Critters

Frogfish – Bizarre Eating Machine Facts

Frogfish are a favourite of scuba divers all over the world and we're fortunate enough to get them in Phuket. These weird little creatures with a face only a mother could love have many strange adaptations. Making it an incredibly efficient predator and some that make it just plain comical. They generally ignore divers and photographers even when they're extremely close and very often carry on 'fishing' despite the close proximity but they [...]

Where Can I Snorkel In Phuket?

The best places to snorkel in Phuket are all found around the west coast beaches. At most you won't see much more than sand and the occasional crab so head a little south. The southern end of Phuket is much less populated than Patong and you can still find some coral reefs just offshore. The best option is to join us on our dive boat to Phi Phi or Racha Noi for a great snorkelling tour with exceptionally professional snorkel guides.. If that' [...]

What Is The Best Phuket Diving Season?

We have two distinct scuba diving seasons in Phuket, imaginatively named low and high. The low season runs from mid May to mid October and high season the remainder of the year. The two seasons are governed by the monsoon winds that blow across South East Asia. It's fairly straightforward; in high season it blows from the east and low season from the west. Well lets start with the low season. The predominant west to east winds bring we [...]
